Solidarity with the Bolivarian Revolution and the Venezuelan people was in force in the political and cultural event that took place on February 22nd in the “A Voz do Operário” (Workers Voice) hall in Lisbon.

On Monday, 11 February 2019 a meeting to denounce of the imperialist coup d'etat in Venezuela was organized outside the US Embassy by the Cyprus Peace Council. Messages to the event were sent by the President of the World Peace Council Socorro Gomez and Executive Secretary of the Venezuelan International Solidarity Committee, Gabriel Aggrere.

Members and friends of the Peace Committee of Turkey convened in Istanbul last week, to discuss the current situation in Syria and WPC’s mission to this country.
A presentation was made by Aydemir Güler, who represented the Peace Committee of Turkey as part of the delegation in Damascus. Güler started by describing the aim of the mission. He continued by explaining the activities within the program.

The International Mission in Solidarity with the Syrian people and Youth was held successfully by the World Peace Council (WPC) and the World Federation of Democratic Youth (WFDY) from 29-31 October in the Syrian capital Damascus. More than 90 delegates from 55 Youth and Peace Structures coming from 37 countries, participated in the mission expressing their full-hearted solidarity with the Syrian people.

Within the context of the World Peace Council solidarity mission to Syria, WPC Executive Committee Meeting was held in Damascus on October 27-28th. The final communiqué of the Executive Committee Meeting is as follows:
