For the immediate withdrawal of USA's Executive Order

Following previous statements, the Portuguese Council for Peace and Cooperation (CPPC) denounces the recent decision of the USA to prolong the unfair and unjustifiable Executive Order from March 2015, named as an “National Emergency” that includes sanctions against the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, against Nicolas Maduro's government, against the Venezuelan people. An act that has already been condemned by several countries and Latin American and Caribbean organizations. CPPC considers this decision an unacceptable interference in the internal affairs of Venezuela, and its sovereignty. CPPC demands the immediate withdrawal of the Executive Order.
