The Greek Committee for International Détente and Peace (EEDYE) is organizing along with dozens of trade unions, students and women associations, a protest rally on Tuesday 15th November at 6:30pm at Omonia Square of Athens.
The Greek Committtee for International Detente and Peace (EEDYE) organized massive commemorative event on 9th August on the Athens “Acropolis” where the crimes of imperialism were denounced and the need for the struggle today against imperialist wars and aggressions was underlined.

Mass mobilization held in front of the Greek Ministry of Defense in Athens against NATO
The mass mobilization that took place in the afternoon of Thursday 25th of February at the Ministry of Defense against NATO's involvement in the Aegean ended with the symbolic blockade of the Ministry's gate and with the slogan "EU and NATO are the syndicate of war, close the bases of death now."
The Greek Committee for International Détente and Peace (E.E.D.Y.E) denounces and condemns the criminal bombing in Ankara, Turkey, on 12th October 2015 which resulted in the death of at least 128 demonstrators and the wounding of hundreds of others during a peaceful event.
Completing 60 years since its founding, The Greek Committee for International Detente and Peace (EEDYE) is strengthening its struggle against imperialism and, alongside the militant workers’ and people’s movement.
