The Greek Committee for International Détente and Peace (EEDYE), labor unions, self-employed associations, student associations, the Hellenic Women’s Federation (OGE) and other structures of the peoples’ movement in Athens denounceδ and condemned the visit of General Secretary of NATO Jens Stoltenberg to Greece, on Tuesday 6 October 2020 with a massive protest rally in the city center of Athens.

The Greek Committee for International Détente and Peace (EEDYE), labor unions, self-employed associations, student associations, the Hellenic Women's Federation (OGE) and other structures of the peoples’ movement in Athens denounce and condemn the visit of General Secretary of NATO Jens Stoltenberg to Greece , on Tuesday 6 October 2020.

“Pompeo go home! Pompeo, the Minister of War is not welcome”.

"Neither land nor water to the murderers of the peoples!"

This clear message was sent by the working people and the youth of Thessaloniki with their mass participation in the rally organized by the Committee for International Détente and Peace of Thessaloniki, Trade Unions and Student Associations, against the presence of the US Secretary of State.

Against the annexation of Palestinian territories by Israel, but also
against the Israeli criminal policy and its imperialist allies against
the Palestinian people, mass organisations, students and workers
demonstrated outside the Israeli embassy of Athens on 1st July at the
invitation of EEDYE. Holding Palestinian flags and wearing Palestinian

The Greek Committee for International Détente and Peace (EEDYE) denounces and condemns the killer state of Israel for the annexation plans of Palestinian territories and the USA for its support to it. These provocative moves, especially ahead of the Nakba anniversary along with the Trump's "peace of the century" plan, constitute a step of escalation of the aggression against the people of Palestine.

The Greek Committee for International Détente and Peace (EEDYE) honors this year the
completion of 60 years since the first release of its magazine “ROADS OF PEACE” on May
9, 1958. From then until today, “ROADS OF PEACE” are an important "tool" in the development of the anti-war and anti-imperialist struggle.
The 60th anniversary of our Peace Magazine coincides with the Great Anti-fascist
