The WPC denounces and condemns in the strongest terms the imperialist and murderous aggression of the USA and Israel of today, against Iran. As self-proclaimed “world sheriffs” the imperialists are spreading terror and death to the Middle East. They are the sole responsible and culprits for this new escalation of aggression aiming at the violent regime change and the control of the mineral resources of Iran. The cynical statements of the US President and his Israeli partner are a “monument” of hypocrisy and constitute one more murderous arbitrary action of powerful states against one state and its people.

All the claims and accusations of the USA, while the supposed negotiations were still taking place in Geneva, are false and a given pretext for the biggest concentration of US warships and other military machinery since 2003 in the region. The aggression was thoroughly planned for long time without any scruple from Imperialist side.

Guilty are as well all the allies of the USA, namely major European forces which consider the attack as legitimate and justified. This war and the expected retaliations will have severe consequences for the whole region, they constitute a huge threat and danger for generalized war of regional and even global dimensions.

This aggression has to stop and end now! The USA and its allies are executing the already trampled International Law without any moral or political authority. The UN is being converted once more as a spectator of the developments towards the new episode of aggression, not willing and able to take a strong principled stand.

The peoples of the world, the peace-loving forces have to raise their voice against this crime. We call upon them to take the streets, to organize protests and rallies demanding the stop of the attack. At the same time to express the militant solidarity with the people of Iran who are the only to decide and determine their destiny, without any foreign interference.

We demand the shut down and removal of the US military bases from the region!
